Weekly bullion premium index
Which tracked bullion dealers have priced below their peers most consistently? This report compares each dealer's daily, category-normalized premium index from Jul 24, 2026 through Sep 16, 2026. Lower is better.
Where premiums moved
The 7-day move compares each dealer's latest category-normalized premium index with its seventh most recent valid daily observation. Negative means the dealer became cheaper relative to same-day category medians; positive means it became pricier.
What the historical index measures
For each contested metal and weight category, every dealer contributes only its cheapest cash or wire offer. We compare that premium with the same-day category median, then average the differences. An index of −2.0 means two percentage points below those category medians on average.
What the ranking does not claim
This is a price signal, not a dealer endorsement. It does not measure shipping, tax, payment fees, fulfillment, service, buybacks, or whether a particular item fits your needs. Verify the final checkout total and dealer terms.
Historical dealer premium rankings
Average index determines rank. “Below median” counts days when the dealer's overall category-normalized index was negative. Dealers need at least 5 valid daily observations to appear.

How to use this report
Start with the average index to see relative pricing consistency, then use the current index and the linked dealer profile to evaluate today's inventory. A dealer can lead the historical table without having the cheapest offer for the exact product or quantity you want today. For a specific purchase, compare the same product and calculate landed cost.
The observation window grows automatically as daily snapshots accrue. We publish the exact date range and day count instead of labeling this a 30-day or annual study before that much evidence exists.
Check the current market
Historical consistency is context; today's checkout price is the buying decision.
Each stored dealer price uses the spot quote captured during the same crawl. Daily dealer indexes are category-normalized, so catalog depth does not add weight. Historical rankings are informational and are not investment advice or a warranty of dealer performance. See the methodology and coverage details.
