Compare 18 qualifying dealers from the latest completed price sweep. In each contested metal and weight category, every dealer gets one observation: its cheapest cash or wire offer. Lower index = lower premiums.

What the premium index measures

We compare each dealer's cheapest cash or wire offer with the median of those dealer-best premiums in every category carried by at least two dealers, then average the differences. This keeps deep catalogs from getting extra weight.

Checkout still matters

What it does not measure

The index does not score shipping, sales tax, card fees, fulfillment speed, customer service, or buyback terms. Verify the checkout total and dealer policies before buying.
